Data Acquisition Systems

Data Acquisition Systems The laboratory has different types of high-resolution data acquisition systems, capable of handling the measurement in the laboratory and also in field conditions. All systems are capable of making strain-gauge-based measurements. Some DAQs are also capable of making thermocouple and voltage-based measurements. Since each scanner in DAQ can function independently, system components can be easily configured for each test. Most DAQs utilized in the laboratory have 16-bit A/D Converter and each scanner's scan rate is 1ms per scan. Using those DAQs, instruments such as strain-gauges, strain-gauge-based displacement transducers, load cells, thermocouples, potentiometric displacement transducers can be measured and monitored. |
